We love christmas season for various reasons, one of those reasons being the food! I remember being around so much food as a kid during christmas. A full house; family, friends, friends of friends and relatives all under the same roof with enough food to go around.
Whether you are catering to your small nuclear family, large extended family or just that one special person, it’s always nice to have small edibles ready/handy.
Why?
Well you might have that one relative that joined team fitfam and won’t eat the soup you artistically prepared or the kids that need snacks before the main course. Either way, you’ll be glad you have something for anyone/everyone to munch on.
Here are some of our favorites:
Whole Wheat Baked Chin
This recipe is fitfam approved. Quick and easy to make. Long shelve life which means you can make it ahead of time.
Nigerian Meat Pie
Meat pie is staple in Nigeria/Nigerian Communities, it is sure to please the pickiest of foodies.
Spring Roll
This is a favorite in our home as it can be completely customized to suit the season/ mood. Make use of an array of protein including beef, chicken, fish, turkey, even shrimps. If you have trouble finding wrap, you can make yours from scratch. You can choose to bake this to make it fitfam approved.
 Mini Puff Puff
Puff puff, puff puff and more puff puff. You can never have too much puff puff. Jazz it up with pepper to create spicy puff puff, you can also add in cocoa powder for chocolate puff puff. Unleash your creativity.
Boli + Epa
We took this street food and tried a remix. It tasted great, looked pretty as well. Jazz up your small-chops platter with this reimagined version of boli and epa. This is also Fitfam approved
