Hello Everyone! Ronke here waving and saying hiiiiiii. Long time no Lose It Nigerian weight loss success story share. My apologies honestly, so many things to do so little time. The LIN revolution is raging on, there are thousands of everyday Nigerians all over the globe achieving their weight loss goals on the plan and I couldn’t be more grateful to God for orderings my steps to write LIN and impact lives this way.
Today’s story is no exception to the many I have shared in the past, read and be inspired.
Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Omotola Ibironke, I live in Nigeria. I am a mother of 4 (twins inclusive). My work as a Geologist entails sitting behind the computer for long hours
Tell us about the journey that brought you this far. Did you always struggle with your weight or is it a result of a life event
I have always been chubby and conscious of my weight but the more I tried to keep my weight in check, the ’rounder’ I got. I also found it difficult to lose weight gained from pregnancy
What types of diets did you try in the past? How did you find them
I tried the carbohydrate addict diet in the past, although I lost weight, I however gained all the weight back because the meal plan was boring and was just not sustainable.
How would you say your diet needs are different as a Nigerian
As a Nigerian, I don’t want to limit myself to just salads, I want to eat Nigerian meal and still stay fit and healthy
What has been your experience on the LIN program, how much weight have you lost
Yes, I started the Lose It Nigerian lifestyle in March at 183Ibs, I currently weigh 163Ibs. I have lost over 20lbs ! LIN meal plans are exciting and easy to make, the support group is tremendous.
What is the one advice you have for anyone on the weightloss journey
See weight loss as a lifestyle rather than a diet. Also, don’t go on diet plans that will restrict or put you in bondage.
